The other day I said I haven't done much in the way of Fall or Halloween cards in the past. Well that was then and this is now...I'm on a roll here. I worked on this card over the weekend & I'm pleased with the outcome or at least I think I am. My daughter says she must have it for her teacher for Halloween so I guess that's were this one will go.
I used Kraftin' Kimmie sets - Haunted House this stamp comes with the Happy Halloween sentiment too I also used Trick or Treat Trio
I have never used this many Copic colours to colour a card before but there is a first time for everything.
House - E41,42,43,49,47
Window's & Roof - V01,91,95,99
Moon - Y32,35,38 (I added a bit of W4,3 & 1)
Pumpkins - YR12,15, 18
Mummy Boy - BG93,96,99
Skin - E000,00,11
Mummy Boy Hair - C3,5,7,9
Mummy Boy Treat Bowl - E95,97,99
Girl's Hair - E31,25,50
Dracula Boy - BG93,96,99
Dracula Boy's Treat Bag - E95,97,99
Dracula Boy's Hair - E15,18,YR21
Mask - N7,5,3
Crown - V01,95,91,99
Spider Web - C2,4,7
Wrought Iron Fencing on the House - C2,4.7
Shading - W8,7,5,4,3,2,1,0
Misc. - Black Kaiser Craft Pearls, I stamped the Bat 3 more times flocked him in black and added Liquid Applique for his eyes, Misc. ribbon, Cosmo Cricket Patterned Paper, Elegant Eggplant SU Cardstock with Bazzil Papaya
I stamped these images on Copic Xpress It cardstock with Memento Black Ink. When working with the new Copic Xpress It cardstockit will take you a little while to become familiar with it. You do not require a lot of pressure or ink when using this new cardstock. I have no problems blending ink even if my image drys a little before I get back to it, however you will have to work a little harder at it. I do not find that the darker colours pile on top, failing to sink in so I can blend them, so I really love that. I find this cardstock to be somewhere in the middle of Prism Simply Smooth and Neenah. If you use less ink you should very little bleeding issues...so far so good for me. The true test for me with this cardstock was this card because I used so many colours and so much ink....I think it performed extremely well. Now with all that said each person has their personal favourites but I can just say that this is certainly my choice.
I look forward to hearing what you think & thanks so much for visiting today!

I created this card especially for an RAK. I picked this image from Your Next Stamp called Kit Flying Fhiona for the card because the sentiment inspired me just like the young girl whom I have never met. I wanted to create the look and feel of my image floating on a cloud, not too sure if I did it or not.
Copic's: Hair - E50, E31, E25; Skin - E00, E01, E11, R20; Pant Cuff, Shirt & Flowers - YR20, YR21, YR23, Kit - BG45, BG49; Pants - G82, G94, G99; Clouds - SU Bashful Blue
Misc.: Square & Scalloped Nestabilities, Misc. ribbon, Kaiser Craft Rhinestones, Carstock Bazzill Celery & Marigold, Patterned Paper Basic Grey Gretchen & Sasha, Xpress It Cardstock, Memento Black Ink
I encourage people to join RAK's if they can...you might just make someones day special.
Hope you enjoy today's post & thanks so much for visiting!

TGIF everyone! The week is finally over and it's time for the all important family and playtime. Today I have Cornucopia Miles from Kraftin Kimmie. I have made cards for several years now but never really made many if any Fall, Halloween or Thanksgiving cards. I don't really know why but I can tell you the Fall theme is the first thing I run to do when I get time to scrapbook. So I thought I would make this year just a little bit different and get in the groove with the Fall themed cards. I know I said in yesterday's post that I would do something with summery colours but I pushed that till tomorrow.
I loved this week's sketch on Splitcoaststampers and this is my take on that sketch....shhh I broke a couple of rules - like the placement of the ribbon & just maybe a couple other minor little things. But the basic's are there.
Ingredients:
Copic's - Mouse (E41, E42, E50, E43, E13), Cornucopia (E55, E57, E59), Banana & Apple (YG00, YG11) please take note that yes I have a green banana that's because it's actually a plantain that's a Caribbean banana, Apple (R17, R59), Shading (W0, W1, W2, W3, W5, W7), Nose (N3, N5, N7).
Misc. - Cardstock Bazzill (Java & Marigold), Copic Xpress It Cardstock for stamping with Memento Black Ink, Patterned Paper (K & Co.), Nestabilities (Plain & Scalloped Ovals), 5/8" Grosgrain, Chocolate Pearls from Kaiser Craft, the little bronze letters have been in my stash for years just waiting for the right time to use them.
Hope you enjoyed your visit today!

Well I missed my post last night because I'm a total reality show junkie...yes I am. As most know it was the finale of one show and the start of another...all in one night. I was there to the bitter end watching both but I'm back tonight with Lookin Chic by Stampavie.
I quite enjoyed colouring this image. I tried to use a few fall colours on this card even though for tomorrow's card I ran like a chicken back to my summery colours.
Here's the list of ingredients:
Jacket & Dog Collar - E95, E97, E99
Hat, Scarf, Boots, Purse - G20, G21, G24
Dog - E34, E25, E44, E47
Shading - W0, W1, W2, W3
Hair - E31, E35, YR20
Skin - E00 & E11
Misc. - Patterned Paper Basic Grey Cappella Puccini & Peagentry, Cardstock Bazzill Walnut & Fawn, Nestabilities Labels 12, Square & Scallop Square, misc. ribbon & buttons, Snickerdoole Smooch Paint on the trim of the coat, dog leash & buttons.
Thanks so much for visiting & I look forward to your comments!!

"Oh Mommy you are colouring the girl's with the big heads, I love those girls", these are the words of my 8 year old daughter when you sat beside me to watch me colour Snuggle. I had quite the little chuckle at her comment, thinking to myself gee I never really looked at these images that way before. I can tell you that she is right they do have big heads but they are just too cute not to work with. This is the result of our colouring that night.
Copic's
Hair - E31, E35 & YR20
Skin - E00, E11
Bunny - C0, C3, C1, R20
Dress, Ribbon Bow, Socks - E95, E97, E99
Shading - W0, W1, W3, W2
Misc. - Bazzill Cardstock Walnut & Papaya, Basic Grey Puccini, Nestabilities Labels 5, Lace Sepia Kaiser Craft flowers, Buttons, Cinnamon Stickles...I pulled out my little Elna sewing machine and did a bit of stitching around the boarder.
Again the inside of this card is just as the outside, here is a close up.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
